A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED

Meet Bear, a small 12 lb. male Tri-color Sheltie.  Bear may be small in stature but has a huge personality.  At six years old, he is solidly housetrained, knows his basic commands, loves to play fetch and will drag all the toys out of the toy basket to find the perfect toy to toss for him.  Car rides are one of his favorite things to do, but if not secured in the back seat, he will crawl into the driver's lap for a better view.  When in the yard, he chases the birds and monitors activities at the park across the street by running the fence and barking.  He has a loud bark for a little guy.  Bear has always been an only dog (he was even the only pup in his litter) so will be placed as an only dog in his new home.  His foster home has other dogs and he spends a lot of time warning them to keep their distance.  He was charged by a larger dog when a puppy and still has a deep-seated fear of large dogs.  His perfect home will be quiet with no other fur pets, gentle exercise (he does pull the leash when walked) and lots of toys.
